Fundraising – Launton Parish Hall Improvement Project
We are embarking on this project to renovate our community Parish Hall to ensure it
continues to be a valuable asset for the people of Launton and beyond. At the same time, we aim to maintain the ethos and exterior appearance of the hall.
Why are we doing this?
The hall was built in the 1930s and so is in need of a complete refurbishment to make it fit for the 21st century.
What are we doing?
New roof
New windows and doors
New suspended wooden floor
New kitchen
2 new accessible toilets
New porch on kitchen
Canopy over front entrance
Open up window above front doors
Remove the false ceiling
Remove the wooden partition to include this section as part of the hall
Re-configure the storage area at the rear of the hall
Wi-fi, hearing loop, projector
Acoustic panels
Bicycle rack
Energy Efficient Measures
Insulation on walls and roof
New windows
New doors
New energy efficient eco heating system including air-source heat pump
LED lighting
Photovoltaic (PV) panels
